WUEZ was just one of the many call letters that appeared on the 1480 AM dial. Around 1977 WUEZ was born and the format was "The Music of Your Life", The station was called EZ-Radio. This lasted until 1979 and they switched to a top forty format.

Pictured below is the control room console (board) This was from when the studio was at West Salem Square, near Stadium Chevrolet. The shopping center had a open mall area with plants in the middle and small shops around the edges.

In 1983 WUEZ was sold to Atlanta Broadcaster George Buck and the call letters were changed to WSAY.
